Star Alliance Lounge at Guangzhou airport

Air China VIP lounge meeting Star Alliance standards at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. This is another important initiative jointly taken by Air China and Baiyun Airport to improve premium services and offer more convenience to the customers at the airport.

The 165-seat lounge offers a wide range of functions including reception, dressing room,hot shower facility, sleeping area, food & beverage area, smoking area, entertainment zone, wifi internet, baggage storage, mobile recharging stations and two VIP rooms. The launch of this new lounge will provide Star Alliance premium passengers with more comfortable and convenient travel experiences.


Air China continues to maintain its core values of providing safe, convenient, comfortable and customized services to passengers, to offer seamless travel experiences to passengers from the ticketing on the ground to the traveling in the air, and to improve its software and hardware to offer excellent premium services. Furnished in South China style, the AC premium lounge covers an area of 1,000 square meters, becomes the 8th Star Alliance member's lounge in China and the largest at Baiyun Airport.

At present, eight Star Alliance member airlines, including Air China, Shanghai Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, ANA, THAI, Egypt Air and Asiana Airlines, are operating in Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, offering over 120 domestic flights and 20 international flights to 20 domestic cities and seven cities abroad. To support Star Alliance initiatives and to follow the service standards of Star Alliance's 'Move under One Roof" initiative, Baiyun Airport allocated its East Concourse 2 to be exclusive to the Star Alliance member carrier, Air China, and as such, over 90% of Air China flights to the airport will be able to dock and connect to the terminal directly, allowing passengers to board and exit with ease.
