air france flight from paris to washington Dulles
As of the 6th of June 2011 the Air France A380 will operate a daily service to Washington Dulles airport.
The National capital of the United States will become the 2nd U.S. destination served by the airline’s super jumbo, after New York, launched one year ago.

The Air France flights, using a brand-new, 516-seat airbus A380 airplane type, will feature four classes. The aircraft will be configured with nine seats in La Première (first class); 80 seats in Affaires (business class); 38 seats in Premium Voyageur (premium economy); and 389 seats in Voyageur (economy-class) cabin.
Air France’s Premium Voyageur – located between Business and Economy – offers passengers 40 per cent more space than does Voyageur. Premium Voyageur provides fixed-shell seating for privacy, a 19-inch wide seat that reclines to 123 degrees, a 39.8-inch seat pitch, noise-canceling headsets, 10.4-inch screens, a PC outlet and a business-class amenity kit. Passengers also have priority check-in and boarding.
The new A380 will also feature Air France’s new business class. Debuting throughout 2011 on other aircraft, the carrier’s new Affaires-Business cabin offers improved lie-flat bed seats; better connectivity, amenity kits,with USB ports and power; a new subdued, cabin ambience french food and more inflight meal choices.
This IAD CDG service will follow the new daily flights to Montreal.

Southwest Airlines, one of the top air carriers at Bradley International Airport, has agreed to acquire the parent company of AirTran Airways in a $1.4 billion deal.
The deal, which continues a trend of U.S. airline consolidation, has not yet been approved by AirTran's stockholders or federal regulators, a process that could take about a year.
The deal may raise hopes that Southwest would add service to Reagan National from Bradley BDL DCA. Southwest serves Baltimore from Bradley, with many flights each week, but not Reagan National. AirTran, based in Orlando, serves Washington reagan National airport but has no presence at Bradley, which is in Windsor Locks.
"What this does mean for us is growth," Flaningan said, "and it means growth in destinations we haven't served before."
The deal has a total value of nearly $3.5 billion, including AirTrans debts and other obligations.
Until the Southwest-AirTran deal closes, the companies will operate independently. Afterward, the merged airlines will use the Southwest name and operate out of Southwest's Dallas headquaters.
Separately Monday, Frontier Airlines began previously announced service between Bradley and Milwaukee, one of its hubs.
Other major airline mergers of the last few years include those of Delta with Northwest and Continental with United.
Bradley is New England's second busiest airport, after Boston Logan.

Sensis Aerobahn is being used by the FAA, the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey and authorized airlines at JFK for improved situational awareness of ground operations at the airport.

Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris Airlines launching six new domestic routes from México City’s Benito Juarez International Airport
In addition to the airline’s existing routes linking México City with Hermosillo and Tijuana, Volaris Airlines is now offering twice-daily round-trips between Benito Juarez (MEX) and Cancún and daily round-trips between MEX and Guadalajara, Chihuahua, La Paz, Los Cabos and Mérida. With the exception of the México City-Mérida route, which launches on September 23, Volaris began all the new routes on September 22.
Mexican low-cost airline Volaris operates an all-Airbus fleet of A319s and A320s airplane and has set itself the goal of establishing itself as Mexico's second-largest airline
