Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan signup bonus

Alaska Airlines has launched a "Join. Fly. Fly Free." promotion, enabling travelers from Northern California who sign up for the frequent flyer program Mileage Plan Account to earn up to 25,000 bonus miles toward free tickets for their travel between now and Oct. 1, 2011.

Northern California residents who join Alaska's Mileage Plan program and fly Alaska Airlines roundtrip, nonstop between Northern California and Hawaii receive 25,000 bonus miles, enough for one free roundtrip domestic Super Saver Award ticket. Members can also book award travel on one of 15 airline partners to over 700 destinations worldwide. Customers who join and fly one roundtrip between Northern California and anywhere Alaska flies except Hawaii earn 12,500 bonus miles, enough for a one-way Super Saver Award ticket.
To qualify for the "Join. Fly. Fly Free." offer, travelers must reside in a ZIP code that begins with 923, 932 or 934 – 961 and sign up for Mileage Plan via Alaska Airlines' website at http://alaskaair.com/join. Qualifying flights must originate, end or connect through one of the following cities: Fresno, Mammoth Lakes, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose or Santa Rosa.

Customers can quickly accumulate 50,000 Mileage Plan miles by combining this offer with the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card offer, providing 25,000 miles upon approval. The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card was just named "Best Loyalty Credit Card" in the Americas for the second year in a row at the Frequent Traveler Awards, based on voting by more than 1.3 million frequent fliers.

Offer not valid for individuals holding Mileage Plan accounts opened outside the Qualification Period. Bonus Miles will be earned once per Mileage Plan member on completion of a qualifying, paid roundtrip flight taken between April 27, 2011, and Oct. 1, 2011. Flight miles must be credited to your new Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account in order to earn Bonus Miles. All travel must be completed by Oct. 1, 2011. Qualifying flights are those operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, PenAir between Anchorage and Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and SkyWest Flight Series 3450-3499.Bonus Miles do not count toward elite status qualification. Please allow four to six weeks for flown miles and Bonus Miles to be credited. Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air employees are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Bonus Miles cannot be transferred between multiple Mileage Plan accounts held in the same person's name.
