Marriott Rewards members earn Avianca TACA LifeMiles

Marriott Rewards members can now earn Avianca and TACA Frequent Flier Miles for dollars spent at more than 3,400 hotels around the world. This latest addition brings Marriott Rewards’ total roster of airline partners to 32. Members will also be able to redeem Marriott Rewards points for LifeMiles, which they can use for free flights on Avianca and TACA.

Effective immediately, Marriott Rewards members who designate LifeMiles as their earning preference will receive:

Marriott Vacation Club
Autograph Collection

Avianca and TACA combined have a network of more than 100 destinations that include Latin America, the United States, Canada and Europe, interconnected through four hubs: Lima, Bogota, San Jose and San Salvador. Avianca and TACA recently unified frequent flyer program, LifeMiles, with more than four million members.

In addition, Marriott Rewards members can convert their Marriott Rewards points into (Avianca-TACA Frequent Flier Miles at the following exchange rates:

10,000 = LM 1,500
20,000 = LM 3,500
30,000 = LM 7,000
70,000 = LM 17,500
125,000 = LM 35,000


Marriott Rewards has no blackout dates and members can earn and redeem points at more than 3,400 Marriott International hotels around the world. In addition to hotels and frequent flyer miles, members can also redeem points for merchandise, cruises, car rentals and more.
