volaris airlines new flights routes

Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris Airlines launching six new domestic routes from México City’s Benito Juarez International Airport
In addition to the airline’s existing routes linking México City with Hermosillo and Tijuana, Volaris Airlines is now offering twice-daily round-trips between Benito Juarez (MEX) and Cancún and daily round-trips between MEX and Guadalajara, Chihuahua, La Paz, Los Cabos and Mérida. With the exception of the México City-Mérida route, which launches on September 23, Volaris began all the new routes on September 22.

These new routes in fact are former MEXICANA’s operational routes.

Following routes, in sequence, to be launched once receive approval:
Guadalajara – Fresno (to be launched immediately once receive approval)
Aguascalientes – Los Angeles
Guadalajara – San Francisco
Guadalajara – Sacramento
Mexico City – Oakland
Zacatecas – Chicago ohare ORD

Other Routes applied which will be operated at later date after receive approval:
Cancun – Chicago
Cancun – Los Angeles lax
Cancun – Miami
Cancun – New York JFK
Leon/Bajio – Oakland
Leon/Bajio – San Jose CA
Leon/Bajio – Sacramento
Mazatlan – Los Angeles
Mexico City – Dallas
Morelia – Sacramento
Oaxaca – Los Angeles
Puerto Vallarta – Chicago
Puerto Vallarta – Los Angeles
Puerto Vallarta – San Francisco
San Jose del Cabo – Los Angeles
San Jose del Cabo – Sacramento
Zihuatanejo – Los Angeles

The carrier’s schedule linking México City with Guadalajara in Jalisco state calls for the Volaris Airbus to push back at MEX at 6:35 p.m. and arrive at Guadalajara’s Miguel Hidalgo International Airport (GDL) at 7:50 p.m. On the way back, the flight leaves GDL at 8:15 p.m. and reaches MEX at 9:30 p.m.

From September 23, Volaris’ new route between México City and Mérida in the state of Yucatán departs MEX at 6:40 a.m. and arrives at Mérida’s Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport (MID) at 8:45 a.m. The return flight is timed to leave MID at 9:10 a.m. and reach MEX at 11:25 a.m.
