Croatia Airlines operated scheduled international flight between Zagreb and Athens. using an Airbus A319 aircraft.

Croatia Airlines fly to the capitals of Greece three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The flight departs from Zagreb at 15:25 and arrives in Athens at 17:15. The departure from Athens is at 18:05 and the arrival in Zagreb at 20:05.

Return tickets Zagreb-Athens can be purchased on the company’s web site starting from 164 euros (including airport taxes and Ticket Service Charge – TSC). Tickets can also be bought at the offices of Croatia Airlines or its business partners.
To mark the introduction of the new regular line, Croatia Airlines rewards Miles & More members with a special bonus – double award miles during the first two months of the Zagreb-Athens service (until 1st August 2010). Besides Athens, there are several destinations in the Croatian national airline’s network of routes within south-east Europe: from Zagreb to Sarajevo (two flights a day), Prishtina (seven flights a week), Podgorica (three flights a week) and Skoplje (daily). There is also a daily Zagreb-Istanbul flight in cooperation with Turkish Airlines.
The expansion of the destinations network in the south-east Europe is in line with Croatia Airlines’ development plans, which include strengthening the company’s position as a regional leader. The direct flights will also enhance economic cooperation between Croatia and Greece and strengthen the two countries’ friendly relations.
The Croatia Airlines fleet has 13 aircraft - four Airbus A319, three Airbus A320 and six Dash 8-Q400 turboprop aircraft.

Croatia Airlines expects the introduction of flights from Zagreb to Athens to further strengthen the company's position in Star Alliance and enhance the global product offered to passengers by the largest airline alliance in the world. Croatia Airlines became a full member of Star Alliance earlier this year.
